    Hi all.

I am thinking applying to do primary school teaching, and i was wondering about the option of applying for the year and a half course as i have a degree already.

I got a 2.2 degree in English and History. I would also have to sit honours Irish in the leaving. I am prepared to give the next 12 months to this if i have a chance. But is it possible given my circumstances?

I know how severe the competition is, but i think i am as capable as anyone.

If anybody knows about his from experience i'd love to hear about it.

    thanks

    Jack

Im not sure about your post grad question, but I re-sat Honours Irish in the Leaving Cert this June after leaving school many many years ago! It is a very tough syllabus, loads of poetry, stories etc, but it can be done.I got my H C1 last week!! I was hoping to get on B.ED course but I wasn't successful:(, and from what I have heard the post grad interview system is hard enough aswell. But all the same, give it a go!!
