AimTop G36 Wiring problems

    Hi,

Recently one of the wires on my G36 came off the gearbox. It was held on by this little rubber thing, i decided i'd just solder it back on.

Before i went to solder it i held it in place to see if it was working. I pulled the trigger in semi-auto and it seemed to only work some of the time. I held the wire against the metal contact next to it and it went into full auto without me pulling the trigger.

I tried it the first way again and there was no change.

I put it down to do something and when i picked it back up and tried it again it would start firing in full auto when i pulled the trigger even though it was set at semi-auto.

And now it won't fire in semi-auto at all

Done this before you have to cnnect it to the right section by putting it on the metal next to it youre skipping the trigger mech and just fires full auto connect it to the right section and it should work

It is connected to the right section. It doesn't skip the trigger mechanism.

My problem is that semi-auto doesn't work. When i pull the trigger it only fires in full automatic mode.

Probally you need a new trigger switch, the lobe on moving trigger contact that engages with the cut-off lever is probally worn (see photo)
