Looking for velvet covered dining chairs (6 in total) in a dark colour like cafe/brown; or even a nice fabric chair would do. Have searched high up and low down and am at my wits end. Have seen them in hotels and asked but they buy from wholesale hotel suppliers and not off joe soap retailer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ikea have dining chairs that have removeable covers and they do them with dark legs or wooden legs. Why don't you buy these and then buy the material you like and have somebody sew you up a slip to go over them. I can't get the chairs i want either and i'm thinking of doing this.

If you got half-decent chairs you could choose a nice velvet fabric in your choice of colour and get an upholster to cover them for you.
If you live in the west I could recommend places to try?
You could order a little extra fabric to make a nice table runner to co-ordinate!

Know the IKEA ones you're talking about and they're not worth a dam. Legs creaking and the likes. The search continues
