to get involved in the various campaigns that amnesty are undertaking such as the Israel--Palestine Conflict.we will be working with other universities such as UCC, NUI Maynooth,TCD and UCD to make sure we are all singing off the same hymn sheet so to speak.there will be guest speakers down on occasions to talk about there own experiences in relation to abuses of human rights and we are planning a different fundraiser for every month for a different cause.there is a strong focus at the moment within amnesty on mental health abuses so there will be a large focus on this and making sure people know what is happening in and out of Ireland as it is an international organisation.

If you're interested in seeing what amnesty is about, come along on the 14th to our table at socs day/ or to our stand at Electric Picnic this weekend if you're lucky enough to be going.

If you'd be interested in helping us man the stand on the day, send us an email at amnesty@socs.nuigalway.ie
