    Hi,
I was just wondering do those who are doing a PGDE and teaching in a school get paid at all by that school or is it all for free?

No, it's all for free. Some schools might give you subbing hours and pay you for them. Some will just take advantage and make you work for free as you are not in a position to complain really. They can't pay you for your PGDE hours because a teacher is already getting paid for those hours and they are not absent. They are doing you the favour by letting you into the school to teach those classes.

Well it depends, as has been mentioned, the school will not pay you for the classes you are teaching as part of your TP. However, you may be asked to do additional work and be paid accordingly.

This work could take the form of supervision or additional classes above those recomended by your college.
