According to a survey of a dating website Can Do Better, 64 percent of women would release a sex tape if it would help advance their careers.

The survey found that 45 percent of women also answered that they would sleep with their professor to pass a college class. (Meanwhile, a relatively paltry 42 percent of men would pull a "Kardashian.") The amoral behaviour wasn't just reserved for sex acts: 36 percent of women replied they would blackmail a co-worker or a boss to get ahead.

In all fairness where is making a sex tape going to get a guy these days, in terms of a career? At least women have the excuse of the glass ceiling.

Survey results can be very misleading, because in most cases they give us the results but dont tell us the direct question or context that it was asked. In other words, i know women and this survey is bollox

...and in all cases they're conducted on Americans in an American setting, which puts a big slant on the outcome....300 million people isn't a representation of the entire planet.

I'm just kidding, I iz old myself - but I genuinely believe that young women today all want fame and money fast.

They have grown up seeing Paris Hilton becoming a megastar from her tape.

They are also the Webcam and video phone generation and these are frequently used to record sex escapades which end up posted online for one reason or another.

I think the percentage of young women that the survey says would happily see one of their sex exploits go public to "get ahead", sounds about right to me, when you consider today's culture.

I'd say if you went to Temple Bar tonight and asked girls between 20 and 25, if they would care about a video of them doing it with their partners went public online - around two thirds of them would say they'd have no problem with it, as long as the result of it was that they ended up far better off financially.
