iTunes Alternative

I did do a search the other day for this but no luck.

Just wondering can anyone recommend me a iTunes alternative?
I've googled a few and downloaded some, but then they turn out to be trials etc etc.

Would love if some boardsie uses one and could recommend it?

Just don't like having to use iTunes all the time, sick of it for many reason.

Sorry if this has been discussed before.

    Thanks

Thanks igor. Trying to get Copytrans working, but it seems to be more about getting songs off an iPod. I'm currently trying to put songs on it which doesn't seem to be going to well for me!

Songbird is good and has many extensions available. It's also much lighter than iTunes, much less bloatware. It supports all iPods/iPhones last check (via plugins - simple to install). Not as quick as iTunes though, wouldn't recommend for any libraries about 8000+ songs, but this is probably because its less of a system hog.
