    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a plumber in the Dublin 15 area please? I need to have a bit of work done in my kitchen.

    Thanks in advance.

If its a gas installiation then its someone thats www.rgii.ie refistered you will need.

If its plumbing in a sink or washing machine any plumber or good handy man will do it.

Kitchen work is not too hard. Its not necessary to be too neat as pipework is hidden behind the press.

On the subject of pipes... if I'm moving a radiator to another wall, is it OK for the pipes to be run along channels in the concrete floor (new laminate being laid soon), or do they have to be run across the ceiling and down the walls these days? The pipes are currently in the wall.

    Thanks.

Channels would be fine.... A strange question to ask considering "channels" are made for pipes.

But i am guessing your wondering will it warp the laminate. Generally no...as thats how its done in bedrooms. BUT then again laminate in a bathroom will be a short life span anyway....

Cheers. I was only asking because the plumber I was talking to said he'd kango a channel for the pipes across the floor, but my folks had a job done a couple of years ago and were told that they had to have the pipes run up the wall, across the ceiling and back down the far wall. I just wanted to make sure that running them under the kitchen floor wasn't against some new regulation or other.
