Unless you jailbroke it the first time around and backed it up then nope..you're in the same boat at myself and have to wait for a jailbreak for 4.0.2

sry...just realised you're using the 3gs..yep..you can jailbreak it I think..have a look below..

Ya should really read through a guide before advising someone to use it.

Op that won't work for a 3GS. It's iPhone 3G or iPod touch 2g only

I did ask him to read through it...you seriously think I'm going to read through all of that and then decide for him to jailbreak?
I posted a link detailing the jailbreaking of 4.0.2...it's upto the Op then to decided for himself if the information is worthwhile and whether he can use it..

u told him he could jailbreak his 3GS on 4.0.2
its not possible to jb a 3GS on 4.0.2
