letter from social welfare

    got a letter today from s.w office,i have to bring in proof of identity,bank statement for last 3 months,mortgage details, social welfare payment details.anyone know what this is all about? p.s my wife recently went back to work from maternity leave.do they want to check out the 67 euro payment im getting.

    If you're currently receiving that €67, and it's a means tested social welfare payment of any kind, then yes, that's what they want. It's just a standard check that they carry out from time to time, nothing to be worried about.
