Wanted to find out if its possible to turn on/off 3G/mobile data/bluetooth/wifi without having to go settings-general-network-enable mobile data etc??

Even if there was a way to turn wifi/mobile data on when you clicked into an app.
Nothing more annoying than clicking into facebook and having to go out and turn on mobile/wifi etc.

I know I could easily just leave mobile data turned on all day, but am not on a data plan yet so don't like the idea of leaving it on all day.

Anyone know of a solution to this?

Install SBS settings and swipe your finger across the top of the screen. You can also go into the sbs settings and pick which things you want to turn on/off like bluetooth wifi etc etc...

Install SBSettings and you just swipe the status bar.

Ok, next obvious question......if I jailbreak my iphone 4.....and I don't like it because of battery issues or just general issues, can't I restore it back to the way it is right now?

My version is 4.0.1 so I can jailbreak that by going to www.jailbreakme.com from safari on phone?

How do I make a back up before I jailbreak?

Any other main concerns I should be wary of before jailbreaking?

    Thanks lads.

Just plug your phone into your machine and a sync is a backup, then
    Jailbreak and install sbssettings.
If you don't like then just plug in your phone and click restore to restore back to before the jailbreak.

And what happens when I jailbreak and then connect to iTunes..... Won't that create another backup(only this time with the jailbreak on it)??

Your backups should be date coded. Mine were.

Where can I check these backups?

On iTunes near the restore button should be a drop down menu with the backups and their dates.

so i'm going to JB my iphone 4 later. All I've to do is connect it to itunes and it will create a backup from today, and then JB.

If I'm not happy I can just go back to todays restore settings?

    Yep, that's pretty much it.

SBSettings is a great little app. Worth Jail-breaking for that alone, imo.

Its exactly why I'm going to JB. I'm just a little worried that if something goes wrong after JB that I'll be able to restore it.

important to note here, when you jailbreak the phone for the first time, you have a new app called cydia , this is your jailbreak community portal, run the complete upgrade when prompted, ...when you get to the cydia home screen, you must press the MAKE MY LIFE EASIER button, this will save your shsh, you read about, you only need do it the once, if you dont and you decide you want to restore phone, you will be forced to take the 4.02 restore, and wont be able to downgrade and/or re-jailbreak until 4.1 jailbreak is released

so make my life easier= restore to 4.01,
