    5ew on harrington 33s and 5 ew goosen 40s

you would have been better off putting money on harrington to miss the cut

you never know at 33s its worth a few euro, if he drives it even just ok he always has a chance,

Will be interesting to see how Harrington performs taking into account all the stick he's getting at home and in the UK media for not playing in Scotland.

I'd love it this criticsm gets his back up and we see a different Harrington. Maybe he needs some motivation like that to get him out of his malaise!

Not getting any, such a disgrace, he's only mentioned when the Sky boys talk about the ryder cup...

Just showed him there duffing a chip and followed up with a missed putt from circa 7ft. Bogey on a driveable par 4.

Sorry i jinxed him after saying he wasn't on much, stupid bogey, hope Monty wasn't watching....

They missed all the good play earlier then.

Almost out of bounds on 6, a difficult up and down for par now.

Not a chance... Monty's tied up in a basement somewhere with a Srizon in his mouth.

Good opening 68 from McIlroy. It could have been a whole lot better, left a good share of putts just short.

Monty is a Titleist man... I'll never look at a proV1 player the same again ;)

    Hear hear.

Harrington looking pretty solid, could do with a couple more birdies to close the gap!! Come on harry:):):):):)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 740 ✭✭✭Cremated

Harrington gets a 13ft putt for a Birdie and then chips in from 6 yards for another birdie, and is now tied for 2nd...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,082 ✭✭✭bigtimecharlie

McIlory finished on Even par, should be good to survive the cut. A 74 to add to the 68 yesterday.

Good to see Harry show a bit of form, but still 2 days to go.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,081 ✭✭✭thegen

Harrington drops shot at 18 to finish -5. Good day from him McIlroy shoots +3 to finish on level par.

Jesus the two lads in the Sky studio are wrecking my head. Exact same conversations as last night re: the wildcards, and then going on and on and on about Tiger and him laying up on that drivable par 4 as well.

God im really giving up on Sky coverage of American Golf.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 948 ✭✭✭SSK

Rory on a bit of a charge, -4 for the day through 5. Eagles the short 5th for the 2nd day in a row

Harrington's putting has him up there this week, he's only middle of the pack for driving accuracy but only had 25 putts yesterday. Lets hope he can keep it going over the weekend

The Sky coverage is very hit and miss, but Rob Lee is an abomination of a presenter, he seems to have a set topic of conversation for a night and doesn't stray from it regardless of whats actually going on in the tournament. The Ryder Cup conversations just emphasize this even more.

I'm mentally preparing myself for Laird to do a Johnson and Watney to me, ie: go loco when leading going into the final round but to lose by 50 shots or something ridiculous.

you probably noticed i'm on him also, backed him a few times,i think he's a great driver of the ball,i like his swing,it's all about getting in and getting a night's sleep, would prefare if he's joint leader not leading on his own.one of my other tips was Adam Scott,if his putter clicks he could be the danger

    oh schit he's 3 ahead

Noticed that indeed. Had a word with you a month or two back about Laird I'm fairly sure. Said I'd back him sooner or later.. finally did this week. Like I said last night, I'm preparing myself for the worst :pac: Final rounds have killed me this year.

Heavy, our man is off to a very decent start

Nearly a hole in one on the 2nd!

    -2 thru 2 so far.

Fairly quiet enough start for the guys around him besides those who are mid-round.

Kuchar to post a target for them to chase. Laird and Johnson might get stuck in a matchplay situation?
