Heard when you need to vrt your car you will have to bring it to local nct centre where they will check the spec etc and will cost 37.50..

    is this true

I dunno if its true but it would make a lot of sense. Theres a lot of import cars out there with stuff on the log book that isnt even remotely true.

Yes its to check cars spec etc as they didnt even inspect the cars before but means the fee will be added into vrt too..

To be honest the nct centres cannot cope with the 2 years car test, then they bring in the 1 year car test now they going to have to inspect imported cars now too…

Find it hard to believe and silly really, Wouldn’t mind if they could handle what they have alreadly on

One would have to assume that they would be taking on more staff to cope with the extra workload. Perhaps it is with this in mind that they have introduced the fee.

i wish i could believe that but they seem to get nothing right, never think things thru..
i think they should sort the mess there is in the car testing before taking on the vrt side of things

This will be deducted from the VRT when it's been paid.
