Iphone4 turning off treadmill

    Anyone here had any problems with their iphone4 and running on treadmills?
    I started using mine and since day 1 the treadmill I'm on just completely powers off within a few minutes.
    It's definitely interference between the iphone and treadmill as yesterday 3 treadmills I was on, all completely powered off.
    There was no one else running beside me and I've been able to replicate it nearly every day.
    Even closing the Nike+ app made no difference and the only way I was able to complete my run was switch back to my nano and put the iphone back in my gym locker.

    Another thing it could be is sloppy maintenance on the treadmills...no rare thing in jjb's limerick.
    I found that my gait was a bit off for the first couple of minutes (soccer injury the previous week) but once I ran for a few mins it returned to normal. Maybe this is causing the belt to slip as I definitely found this on a few treadmills.
    Regardless I'll try again tomorrow and over the weekend and see how it goes.

    Stick it in airplane mode while you're running, or at least turn off WiFi and Bluetooth as they would be the most likely to be interfering with the unit.

    I made sure to have wifi and bt off...
    Might try it on airplane mode but then again the nike+ sucks on ios4 at the moment so I might as well use the nano in the meantime.
