I've just got a nice apartment on Thomas st, it's pretty nice, just across the road from,Vicar st pretty much (can see it from my window) and very hand for the course i'll be doing at Trinity.

i'm a little bit worried though... i've heard it's not the safest area, can anyone tell me anything about it? is it safe to walk back along the main street at night?

I don't think is the nicest area and wouldn't be too happy about walking home at night around there but that's me.

My friend lives around there and works in the Vicar and has never really had any problems.

Thomas Street certainly wouldnt be one of the nicer parts of the city centre but it aint the worst. If your across the road from Vicar street then be prepared for a lot of noise. I have rented across the road from a night club in the past and can honestly say it aint a pleasant experience and I will never being doing it again.
