Are there any exams in October?
I've checked the term dates on UCD.ie and it says that there are no exams until December but I've been told that there will be exams in late october by a friend. I'll be studying English & German, just incase that makes a difference.
    Thanks lads.

Check your module descriptions. There may be some examination during term. There is for Economics anyway.

Yeah, a few say mid-term exams, I'm just unsure if mid-term is early december or late october.
Goodbye first holiday in over 9000 years if it is october :(

Dates are not usually set in stone but most lecturers mention it in the first lecture, some even give a date. Midterms are usually in mid-October by which you'd have 6 weeks or so of material to be examined on.

By the way, UCD doesn't have a midterm where your off for a week in October. Its solid from September to the Christmas exams.

Thanks a bunch, I know we don't get a week off or anything but I'm using a weekend and bank holiday, just missing one or two college days. Just hope those two days are exam free :)
