Dboys SPR Hopup replacement

I've had a Dboys SPR for a good while and I'm trying to upgrade it. I have a tightbore and I've replaced the hopup rubber. I can get it shooting very straight but there seems to be some, for lack of a better word, creep, where the hopup adjustment moves so I can't keep it consistantly straight. Is this a problem with the actual hopup chamber? If so, would this one do the job?

some hop-up chambers suffer from creep. what you need to do is strip down the gun to get the hop-up chamber/ barrel out remove the adjusting wheel and put either a small o ring or split washer behind it then re- assymble.

I'm not doubting that it will work but I'm curious as to how it works!

fitting the o ring or split washer takes the lose'ness out of the adjuster and adds reistance to the turning action of the adjuster wheel.
