    Also, if you bring your own, you need to pay for the television license yourself.

    At least Glenomena and Roebuck students get a wall socket connection for some of the channels.

    Anyone know if Merville has one of these connections??? Belgrove definitely doesn't. Lived there in first year in ground floor apartment and reception was terrible.

    Otherwise it'll be rabbit ears and fuzzy episodes of home and away for the year and plenty of internet tv for me.

    its actually a bit of a mix some do some don't, my place in belgrove did have a connections but a friend who was also in belgrove didn't

    If they tv licence guy comes, more than likely you'll get a text about it and you don't have to leave him into the house just tell them no you don't have a tv.

    there is no charge for wireless internet anywhere in UCD.
    Every building in the place has it for free.:D
