Just received this email..is it an authentic email from boards.ie?
    Dear Ludo,

Someone has tried to log into your account on boards.ie with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 86.41.75.126

    All the best,
    boards.ie

Look legit and indeed it lists an eircom IP.
Someone at that IP may be trying to access your account possibly by accident by a misspelling their username.
Usually no need to check, but any mails from boards will always have a mail relay of relay.digiweb.ie in the headers and contain From: "boards.ie" <no-reply@boards.ie>
The mail serves no other purpose other than to notify you.

Thanks Sparky. All your info matches up with the mail alright...just was curious if it was authentic or some kind of scam trying to get me to click on the ip address in it.
