Hi! Just bought a new style Ford Mondeo (2007). There are no fog lights on it, but obviously there's a space left on the front of the car for them and I was wondering if it's possible for Ford to install them now.

PS: Tried calling Ford, but couldn't get thru!

I'm not sure if the wiring is already there on the cars and you just need to add the parts, or whether it's a huge job to do.

Some of the previous generation Mondeo's (and Focus's) had all the wiring already in behind the blanking plate and it was simple job to install the 2 fogs and the switch. Some of them didn't have anything behind the blanking plate so a load of new wiring would have been required as well.

If you fancy having a look behind the plastic where the fog light should be it might give you a quick answer. I'd expect to see some form of block connector in there if all the wiring is already there.

FWIW, I have front fogs on my car and i've used them perhaps twice in the past two years.
