Advice needed

Im in the process of restoring my granda's tractor and me and my father cant find the tax book for it but we know my granda never registered it in to his name, how do we go about getting a tax book with it not registered in our name,

Is there a number plate on the tractor or do you know the number? If you know the number ring the motor tax office and ask for their advice. (assuming the tractor was registered in Ireland and is not an unregistered import)

yeah it still has the reg on it, its an irish tractor, thanks

its registered just not in our name, and we dont have the tax book its lost, just wondering how ya go about registering it in our name, as wheelnut says i could just contact the tax office and see what they say, or does anyone know any other way to go about it. thanks for your reply

There is a procedure for this. Ring or call in to the local Motor Tax office.
