Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I opened a company about four years ago and havent traded for the last three years, however, I have kept the company open, while just getting my yearly accounts done by local accountant.

The cost last year was €180.00 . Considering there was nothing really to account for as nothing went through the books, does this cost seem a little high?

No, there is still some work to be done and I'm assuming the accountant also prepares and files the Abridged Financial Statements and the B1.

IMO its a very fair price.

Thanks for the heads up lads, just really wasn't sure what was fair price. Honestly thought it was a case of running off the B1 forms with a few 'entries' and then for me to sign and drop into the CRO.

Just one more question guys, for doing my year end accounts for 2009 and then closing the company what would I be looking at? (would I also have to file accounts for Jan 2010 to date?)

    Thanks!
