From 12pm to 4pm on Sunday 5th September, Sligo Airport will be hosting a family day with a difference, giving you the opportunity to take a tour of the airport and talk to Airport staff, learn about what goes on behind the scenes, see a fire fighting display, meet Aer Arann captains and crew, see the Sligo Search and Rescue Helicopter up close and meet the Search and Rescue team, talk to Usher Aviation aircraft engineers and see how aircraft are maintained, view the Sligo Aeroclub aircraft and find out about learning to fly!
On the day you will also have a chance to win free local trips with Sligo Aeroclub, who this year are celebrating 35 years of flying at Sligo, and free return tickets with Aer Arann to Dublin.
