And people from outside Dublin add "er" to the end of names.
Johner, Micker, Danner and so forth.
    Oh how we laughed.

I live in Dublin and no-one I know adds 'o' to the end of their names. I've only ever heard scumbags do it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,593 ✭✭✭Sea Sharp

It probably has some fascinating explanation that goes back 100s of years.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Irish people's surnames usually start with 'o'.

Or maybe it's just because skangers are spastics and they think it sounds cool.

Meath sucks. There. I said it. That Dunboyne place is a complete ****ing hole, and as for Naaaavaaaan, the only good thing about that place is that the name is a palindrome.

Why does everyone from the 'cuntry' say "biy" at the end of everything?

I gotta stop with those generalisations.

Dublin is barely keeping this economy afloat.

Its the reason you aren't eating your own excrement, my Cuntry cousins. I suggest you lay off the chip-on-shoulder and try this dose of reality I can prescribe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,573 ✭✭✭✭kowloon

There's also the attachment of -er and -ers to worry about.

Your mother isn't a farm animal. May look like one, though.

Pity people can't keep on topic :(

I hate it when people from outside the capital using strangers full names while having a conversation with *ye. I don't know these people so there is no need to tell me their full names!!!!

Example: "Brendan McCormick and meself met Michael O'Brien and Joe Fitzpatrick down the pub. We bumped into young Niamh O'Shanassy on the way, she wanted to know if Aofie Murphy was working tonight so I told her I'd ask the bar man, ol' Peadar Kearny, and let her know".

(*btw what the f**k is "ye"? The word is "you", even Dublin scummers get that right)

I lived in vain hope we would have to wait for the next bog ball game before another culchie rant. The silly season seems to mean AH recycles itself after a few days instead of a few weeks.
