For some reason, when I seen the thread title I immediately thought of the 2003 film "The Dreamers". Which is well worth a watch also.

I dunno, there is something very cookie cut about the film portrayed in that trailer. But I'm willing to reserve my judgement, and watch it. I was wrong about "Dan in real life" so I'd be glad to also be wrong about this.
