    Hi,

I have been debating persuing a career in behaviour analysis the last while but I don't know too much about the job prospects. I have experience working in an ABA school, and I understand I would have to complete an ABA masters and BCBA exams. Does anyone have any information regarding where you can seek employment afterwards besides in ABA schools? Can you still supervise ABA Tutors even if you are not a primary teacher? What does the day to day job entail? Any info much appreciated!

    Hi Tiggerman,

I'm relatively new to this field also, but I am aware that there is alot of controversy at the moment with Dept of Ed changing the ABA pilot schools to "special schools" which will no longer be exclusively ABA but more eclectic and facilitated by 'Special Needs Assistants' as opposed to ABA tutors.

I was lucky to get a position in a private ABA preschool, but before I got that I was really worried I wouldnt be able to find anything for my course as I believe even home tutor programmes now have to be run by someone with a teaching qualification.
