Try FAS, they are currently advertising in training section on website for FETAC level 5 healthcare assistant traineeships. It's a 36 week training programme with workplacment. Currently trying to get place on course but the only hard part of it all is getting your own workplacment in a nursing home or high dependancy unit. No nursing home seems to want free labour from trainees with up to date training standards. Register with your local fas office, and go from there.:)
