Rent allowance questions

    New to all this and I'm a bit confused.

    Me and my partner are applying for rent allowance, we've found a place and we've got all the forms filled out apart from the white bank details form.

    We'd prefer to have the money paid directly into the landlords account if possible. How do we go about this? Does the landlord sign the bank details form?

    Hi Derdederp,

    You might have better luck if you post this under the Soc > Accomodation & Property Page. I'd be very interested to know the answer to this one aswell... Good luck :)

    This suprises me because my welfare officer told me they no longer pay the landlord direct,its paid as a weekly payment and its up2 you to pay it at the end of the month...can you let me lnow also as the bank way would suit me better...do you live in country or dublin ??maybe its different in other counties:confused:
