UPC upgraded my account. Contract void?

    I got a text from UPC to say that my broadband account has been upgraded from 10mb/s to 15mb/s because I'm such a loyal customer. Very nice of them but just so happens I'm moving out in a couple of weeks and need to cancel the contract anyway!

    I'm wondering, a 15mb/s isn't what I signed up -- is my contract now void? I know usually they want you to sign a new 12 month contract for the 10 to 15mb upgrade.

    (I'm pretty sure there's a hefty charge for leaving the contract early, under normal circumstances).


    Also, this is what I get with my "15 mb/s" connection. Nothing new here -- UPC are ****e in Dublin City Centre from my experience. I had hoped the 'upgrade' meant things were fixed!
