    If anyone's interested - the world's first 'portable' digital camera:

    A home-made device, cobbled together with the images recorded onto a cassette-tape.
    The camera captured a 100-line image onto that cassette-tape, and took 23 seconds to write to the tape.
    Playback consisted of using another tape-player hooked up to a frame-storing device that interpolated the 100 lines to an NTSC-compatible 400-line image and then showed it on a regular TV-screen.
