Do PLC's often free up?

I applied for a PLC course last week via e-mail, and I was told today that I am put on a waiting list and will be contacted next week if there is a vacancy. My question is what are the odds I will get an interview? Is there a chance a space will need to be filled?

Impossible question to answer really, depends on supply/demand. We usually offer interviews to most applicants in our place but this year have cut back on the, 'courtousy,' ones as we have had ten times the applications as last year. People are finally copping on! Best of luck
