A Few Questions about appeals.

    Hi Leaving Cert forum.

Since apparently science in Trinity went up to 460 I missed out on my course for 10 points.. but I still think there could be some hope if I got some subjects appealed. So a few things I'm not too sure about.

If I do manage to get up the required amount of points, (10/15) Then what? Will they offer me a place? Will it be too late? Might a get a place next year?

Secondly, if I accept a course in the meantime, does that eliminate any chance of getting the course I want?

And thirdly, what date are the results of your appeals released on?

I don't know if some of these questions are really ridiculous, but bear with me here I didn't even want to go near the idea of appeals unless I had to :(

If your points are increased on appeal CAO will be notified, and you will be offered the place if you have the required points. If you accept a course now, and you get the points for Science in then you will be transferred i think. Appeals are at 9th october afik
