    shimano, looking for 105, Ultegra or maybe even a reasonably priced 2nd hand DuraAce set (is there such a thing? i certainly hope so!!)

    Hi mcd79,
    I was on the same search a few weeks ago. Got tip off from boards member to go to Planet X. They`re selling 105 sti levers for £100. That`s an unbeatable price- I`d say go for it if they`ve still got em.

    out of stock at the mo tho! :( i'll keep an eye on them tho, did u order them? was that 123€ + postage for the pair or just one lever? they seem to have ultegra pair too for 187€ approx, might have a serious look at them if nothing else pops up

    Yea got a pair and was 128e all in i think. Serious bargin - sorry but I`d be surprised if they get em in at that price again. Haven`t fully looked into it but would you consider buying a 105 groupset if it was cheap. Use the levers and anything else you want and put the rest up for sale as one lot on boards- might be a cheaper alternative. If i see some good deals i`ll let yea know.

    yeah cheers DocMan, i'd say i've missed the boat, i opted for stock update but i'd say when they come back in the price will be gone back up, ah well, havent done much looking into buying a full 105 groupset, did spot one for sale on Buy&Sell site (in box, unopened) it was a good deal but still outside my budget at the mo unfortunately :( i'll keep an eye out anyway, still in the hunt if anyone has anything that might suit.
