Penalty Points Query

    Hey Guys,

I have an 04 A4 1.9TDi, Insured with Aaron under my gf's policy as I'm too young and cannot afford it on my own. I know I know, I should have bit the bullet years ago when I first started...

Anyways, I had 2 points on my license when I got my insurance. Since then I have received 4 more, wrongfully. I'm in the middle or arranging a court hearing to have the points reversed. I was issued an €80 fine and 2 points. Paid the fine but was taken to court. In court the judge said there was no record of me paying. I have the receipt from the Post Office I paid it in (obv didn't bring it with me :) )

According to a local garda, it will take anywhere up to 3 months to have the points removed. I want to let my insurance company know that I have accumulated 4 more but am a little nervous as to how much more I will have to pay. does anybody have a rough idea as to how much I will have to pay on top? And also, when the points are removed, will I receive a reimbursement for the difference?
