I have it for the Ipgone 3gs. Works fine. Charges the phone and the incoming call comes through the speakers. The only fault I have with it is that it falls over all the time. Constantly trying to keep it upright

Is there not a suction cup to mount it to the windscreen how do you place it on the dashboard again many thanks for the speedy reply

No suction cup. There is a thick black flexable bar that stick into the cigerette lighter and thats it. If you want I can try get a pic of it for you

I wouldn't be a fan of how it holds the phone to be honest. It looks from the pic that the connector on the bottom is holding the phone up and taking its weight, so what if the arms on the side were to loosen and the phone would move around on the connector and do damage to the phone. A bit extreme i no but still.

Through an input jack in car stereo or over the radio in the car using an fm transmitter?

The FM transmitter will only send sound to your car radio you would still have to hold the phone to talk into it. I bought one in Music shop in the Diamond. Didn't work great in the car though but it's cool for blaring music full blast round the house though the stereo !
