I built a shed out the back of the house, and as it was a pretty big operation in the garden of a semi d the lawn needed to be completely re sown.

The original lawn didnt have very heavy topsoil so i got in some new topsoil. Levelled it raked it and raked out the stones, and then shook out the seed.

Im not sure however should i rake the seed into the topsoil? There were foreign instructions on the bag. It did say however i could sow it this month, but im not sure wheather i should rake it or leave it?

When should i see some grass grow?

You will need to rake the seed on lightly alright. Depending on the quality of the seed and weather conditions you should see grass between 1-3weeks? Weather conditions now are perfect actually-showery and an odd dry day! Good luck.
