Better for answers here I reckon

    Hiya.

    <mod snip>

Can I ask you why you would want fake branded cosmetics and brushes?

"Fake" products are counterfeit. Boards does not endorse the buying or selling of fake or counterfeit goods. Please, no one post in this thread about where to purchase fake goods.

    Some posts edited.

OP, there are many reasonably priced make up brands available. Are you looking for any particular type of product?

sorry about that guys, mainly my reason for wanting cheap products is im hoping to go to college in sept and i obviously dont have the money to spend on the expensive products but would love a nice brush set! No theres no particular brand tbh, just something good but cheap enough.

thanks guys and I'm sorry again

You're probably better off buying your brushes separately, some sets come with ones you'll never even use, unless you're really good at make up application.
The Body Shop do really good brushes, and I think Ruby and Millie from Boots are good as well. They're probably still a little bit expensive, but really cheap brushes shed and generally aren't worth the money.

    Thanks Twee.
For the brushes you have mentioned what kind of price range are you talking about? I think i would use alot of the brushes in a set too as i enjoy doing make up and experimenting but I'll be happy to go with the cheapest option! I'm just clueless i think, there's so many dif Brands of brushes out there and i dont no where to start looking really!
    thanks for all your help

www.sigmabeauty.com, www.coastalscents.com and www.crownbrush.com all have fabulous selections of both individual brushes and sets. They're excellent quality and will last you years if you take care of them. All websites also sell brushbelts which would be handy for a makeup student. I think they all offer a service where they put your name on your brushes which would be handy if you're using them in class. Alternatively you could wait until you start your course if having a set isn't a requirement for starting, as they'll surely be affiliated with a company who'll give a discount for students, etc. You can order direct from the above websites but there are also products available on eBay. Just beware of counterfeits and fraudsters.

    hi there

    check out this link http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=2271805
its the Martin Lewis forum (money saving guy from GMTV) and there are loads of cheap (good) make up suggestions here. As its a UK site some of the shops mentioned arent here. My cheap make up tips are Barbara Daly at Tesco (especially eyeshadows), Vit E face wipes and creams (also tesco), Penny's do good lip gloss for the price and Boots own label (think its called naturals) mascra for under 3 euro.

I think you would be better off buying cheaper brand makeup rather than 'fake' products.

I wouldn't put a fake brand makeup on my face, you never know what could be in it.

Got a few eyepalettes from sleek makeup on line, I think they're lovely so pretty and pigmented!
Best way to get cheap makeup I think is be on the look out in boots for their 3 for 2 offers, I always stock up them. And use the no.7 vouchers when they're about - they're ace aswell.
Bought some Rimmel waterproof eyeliner and an eyebrow pencil recently too and they work just fine, can't fault them at all, very happy!

Have you ever ordered anything from Costal Sense? What's the shipping like?

i wouldnt buy anything from costal sense because they are the same brushes from crown brushes as far i know but with with their name on it and charge double the price , its the same as the 120 and 88 eyeshadow palettes they are all the same bar the logo.

Ecotools are cheap enough brushes - boots stock them and they have got really good reviews on makeup blogs. Theres lots of cheaper makeup out there thats really good quality - you do not need to resort to putting fake stuff on your face.

If your birthday was coming up it might be a good idea to ask someone to get you an Urban decay palette - for about 30e you can get tons of colours. The new naked one thats in the House of Fraser is 37e i think but has tons of gorgeous neutrals. I would recommend buying better quality eyeshadows - the loreal shimmer ones are fab but are 8e so the palette actually works out at excellent value on a per shadow basis.

For foundation I recommend Revlon Colourstay - its 17e but its really good.

Collection 2000 do a good under eye concealer thats less than a fiver and Aldi also do one which is fairly good.

For mascara I usually hit ebay for Cover Girl stuff - its usually only about a fiver to buy from the US and is excellent quality.

Superdrug do cheaper brands such as MeMeMe which do dupes for shimmerbricks and also poise tint and benetint which are less than a fiver.

Do a bit of research - there are tons of beauty blogs out there and you do not have to spend loads to look great.
