Just wondering does anyone have any advice on whats best to eat on the night shift. I work 2 nights a week and feel im not eating right. BTW its 12 hour shifts.

Heres what I have on a average night.

21:30. Sandwich on Wholewheat bread with meat (ham, chicken, beef, turkey, tuna) with salad always lettuce tomato and cucumber. Also have tea w/ milk no suger.

02:00. 1/2 sandwich same as above w/ tea

06:30. glass of O.J. (200ml) banana and a yougert of some kind usualy a petits filous.

Id also have about 1 litre of water.

So there you have it. Any advice would be great.

    Thanks

I also do shifts and work nights. What time does your shift start and end?

I only do an 8 hr night shift but I have a dinner about 8pm before going in. I then usually have some fruit/yogurt during the night, maybe some nuts.dried fruit or a muesli bar. Never anything too heavy.

Shift is 19:30 to 07:30. Normally have dinner about 17:30. Might try to get some nuts. What kind would you recommend?
