Wouldn't know him well enough to ask but I'm from same area and see him around. He's a mate of one of my neighbours. Cracking story indeed.

Sure he is probably sick being asked about it, he certainly will be following the article plus rte radio are broadcasting it again tomorrow. Wouldn;t we all love to have a story like that.

The Irish didn't stop them, The English didn't stop them, The Americans stopped them. Oh yes.

But then again I should brag about our security...

US Customs and Immigration didn't stop them. Only a beat cop got suspicious when 2 kids asked him the "way into town". A cop outside any airport in the world would get suspicious if a 10 year old with a foreign accent asked for "the way into town".

And I thought I was bad ending up on Cork after 'a night camping in my mates back garden in Dublin'!

I don't think I would have had the guts to try go that far.

That's actually my eldest brother Keith, though he'd go mad if he knew I was saying that on a forum!!!

    Classic so it is.

He was actually supposed to be minding me in the front garden when he went on his little journey!!!

The documentary itself won another award in 2011, its second.
