    Yeah, tell me about it!
I felt compelled to send them an email just asking if they were joking!! How ridiculous!

I actually like the film, but refuse to watch it at this time of the year!

Surely they had something else they could've shown instead.

  • I'm not the only one thinking about Christmas in August! Even RTE are!! :D Only 125 days to go!! :D:D:D

Oh I sent them an email of complaint..RTE are such tools.

I have taken it upon myself to send them at least one email a year in the lead up to halloween and christmas, becuase for some strange reason they seem to show Christmas Movies around Halloween and then leading up to Christmas and at Christmas they show loads of violent, horror, everything except Christmas movies

Hahaha maybe this way they will learn. At least they are nice about it.

  • Well it doesn't look like RTE have taken one bit of notice. I checked the guide and they have "Aisling's Holiday Diary" on this morning at 11:05 on RTE 2. It's described as a seasonal edition of the tv programme. Not as big a deal as Santa Clause 2 but still more Christmas programming in August

Well there's only so many stupid antiquated 1950's movies you can watch over the summer (and believe me RTE have no problem whatsoever in bringing out the archives). I think most children will be happy to watch a film made during their lifetime, or close enough to it
