Sorry if this has been asked and answered before (I did search).

I have a plumber calling out today to replace a toilet. Literally, swap out the old for a new one that I have.

So, any idea (approx.) what a fair price would be?

    Thanks

Should take an hour or less to do that - €50 max

Totaly agree with Joey. If he is a trading company. If it's a guy doing a nixer you might get him for €50. Also it will take more than an hour if you have tiled around the old toilet.

Thanks guys, for the advice. As these things always go we asked for a few more things to be done; swap out a bath and a sink. He's doing all three for a very fair 140.

Nothing wrong with push button. Have been supply buying sourcing and fitting them for 5 years now. They are brilliant.

However they are prone to poor installiantion by DIYERS and blue loos destroy them

we have low level toilet at the moment and will get a close coupled one put in. Have two taps in sink at the moment, and will have a mixer tap put in with the new sink. 200 euros to replace toilet and sink, is this fair?

That's pretty fair as piping monologue taps is slower.

The cheapest of the cheap push button cisterns are crappy old things wouldnt touch off them , all the standard priced ones and known decent makes are good to work with and are usually fine as long as the instructions are followed when installing

nothing wrong with push button cisterns, just once they cause trouble with the crappy insides that come with them replace them with something better like torbeck
