    Hi

I purchased this tv - technika advanced 19-208 in Tesco a few weeks ago but did not get a chance to hook it up until today. I ran a cable from my spare connection on the lnb but when i try and scan for channels it finds nothing. I am wondering if anyone has any experience or tips on what I can try. I also have sky in another room and hooked it up to it and got nothing also.

    thanks in advance.

This tv dosent have a satellite tuner built into it so you are at nothing connecting it directly to your sky dish and it also dosent have a MPEG4 tuner in it so it will be no good when RTE/TV3 Ireland changes over to digital. Its basically a tv for the UK market which is Freeview.
Here in Ireland we will have Saorview when its up and running.

It's a Freeview TV not Freesat/FTA Sat. It requires an Aerial and a signal from the UK which unless you live on some eastcoast area's or by the border you will not get. Freeview TV's are no good for RTE's upcoming new digital service (received through an Aerial).

Freeview is often confused as freesat .... your not the first and you won't be the last.
