    Hi,

Got interview with Citrix for Network Tech Support position. Did anyone knows what to expect on their technical exam? Would it be all general or maybe something more specific from networking?

    Hi,

I work for that team ... its a tough exam , you will need to know the following in detail >>

    TCP
Routing protocols , OSPF, RIP etc
    SSL Handshake
    How to prevent looping
    OSI model
    Journy of a packet
    IIS
HTTP commands , put , get etc
Ports and protocols, examples of each
    Network tracing
    Collision domains
    Broadcast domains

The exam is in 2 parts, first part has 3 long questions (page each) second part is shorter questions, about 40 of them.

    best of luck

    Hi Guys

Long shot but is the Tec exam multi choice ,like the Microsoft exams ?

Nope, they are all open questions, answers you have to write all by yourself.
    Test in 3 parts:
    Technical
    Troubleshooting
    Customer Service

all and more read Gaz's post, it was long time ago, if you passed or prepared for ccna it is easy if not well you need to know all network ports and definitions by heart
