I want to get my teeth professionally whitened and I'm finding the idea of research a bit daunting because of the vast amount of information. Just wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere or tell me what type is best. I was looking at thewhitehouse.ie for €220. Anyone ever been there and recommend it?

I suggest you use the search function.

Thanks Magenta, that's so unhelpful. Why did you even bother to click into this thread just to leave a smart reply, it's no skin off your nose if it has been covered before, just ignore it. And yes I searched for info on thewhitehouse.ie and not a lot of information came up.

I was referring to the Search function on Boards.ie
    Please try to keep up.

I'm currently using the Nite White system, based on a recommendation from my dentist. I've used it for 6 nights now (out of a recommended maximum of 14) and I'm seeing really good results so far.

EDIT - Total cost of Nite White system was E350 including the custom fitted trays. I have a lot of faith in my dentist, so I was happy to go with her recomendation.

I've actually started using the Crest whitening strips. I ordered them from the US as they are allowed sell a stronger strength of peroxide over there. I got them in the post yesterday, used them last night and this morning and will be using them tonight. I already see a difference and have a ten day supply so would defo recommend them

was looking into getting these, do they cause any sensitivity? i dont generally have sensitive teeth but just wondering if they cause much as alot of people have said they do. also roughly how much are they? and depending on the rules of the site, where did you get them? (not sure if you can post it or not :o)

Whitening your teeth at all can cause sensitivity no matter what method you use. Just fyi. :)
