well you could walk outside the door, sit on a park bench, look at ducks. Then when it starts to rain you can drag yourself home to the damp, dark flat and look through the dirty lace curtains and the solid brick wall that is the flats next door.

hi op, i know the feeling, im not getting paid till next friday, im absolutely smashed

you never mentioned if you wanted to keep busy indoors or outdoors.

my suggestions that wouldnt cost any money

• Go window shopping
• Go for a long walk if you have an I-pod
• go visit friends
• Watch a couple of dvds you havent watched in a while
• Put on some chirpy music and clean your house
• Read a good book
• Read loads of threads and posts on boards.ie

all the above pass the time at least;)

Wake up early, download 700mb Ubuntu .iso
While it's downloading go join the library & get "A Brief History of Time" by Steven Hawking.
Come back, install ubuntu with the wubi program.
When it's done (quick!) click yes to the computer to install all updates!
Go to the beach with your ready made picnic & start reading the book & be
blown away with learning why time slows down the faster you go,
why space bends more around you the fatter you are & why you aren't
in one single place with a single speed the smaller you are.
Do this for as long as possible then take that 10 euro you know you should
keep, buy beers & invite all your friends down to the beach where you
were reading earlier & get drunk telling them all the crazy sh*t in that
book :cool: They'll love you for it , I swear!

Then when you have the hangover the next day you can play with ubuntu
on your pc & get rosegarden to make free opera music

I do believe that sex is often free - I am also reliably informed that it can be better than free for women if approached in a correct fashion. So you could kill two birds with one stone which would only mean having to be broke for one day and even then, at least you'd have something to do for that day.

It may be the case, however that large African American gentlemen with flashy clothes and canes may have an impact on the amount of money this activity can generate for the lady in question. So you will have to make a judegement call on this matter.

Whatever mobile network your on, you go to their website. e.g www.o2.ie if your with o2. When your on the site you will see webtext icon or whatever and click it. It may get you to register or make up a password for logging in but it takes only minute:)

Make sure you don't pause the download or let your internet connection stop!
It'll break the whole thing & you'll have to start again

3: Download WUBI

Put this program in the same folder as the big 700mb .iso file!

4: Check the 700mb .iso file to make sure it isn't broken!

Just download winmd5sum & follow the next 5 steps.

5: Open wubi, put ubuntu on whatever disk on your pc that has lots of
space, & give Ubuntu plenty of space too!

6: Enjoy!
