iPhone 4 Free Case Shipment

Just got an email from Apple saying my free case for the iphone4 has been shipped and will arrive within 5 days.

No bad considering originally said wouldn't be shipped until 3rd September. That said i haven't had any antenna issues so no major rush for it.

Guys, don't order the "Incase" clear case.. It's crap!
I got mine the other day, I was delighted to have received it so quickly..
I was really disappointed with it.. It's awful.

i went out and bought an Incipio case, very very happy with it!

What's crap about it? My OH got a purple one and finds it great for protecting against keys in handbag etc. Wouldn't trust dropping it though!

Yeah it seems everyone who ordered the bumper seem to all get emails today regarding shipment, I also got mine, despite nit ordering it until a week after we were able to, now just to get a zagg and I can get my phone all protected, my first phone had one annoying but not to noticeable kinda scratch so good to get a brand new one, which is still in its plastic protection lol

It took exactly 1 week for my first case to arrive. The second one I've ordered, a bumper, shipped yesterday.

Weird, I got my iPhone up north and immediately when iPhone came out in Ireland I downloaded case program and I have still not gotten an email.

? So delighted with mine: retains the beauty of the phone, protects it too. Cheap bit of plastic, of course, but does the job. Little stand an unexpected bonus. What's not to like?

Mine arrived last Thursday, wasn't supposed to be send until Sept 27th. Its the griffin reveal etch or something! Very happy with the quality although I have't really noticed anything major with the signal.

Although I have noticed that I seem to be on 3 3G a lot more than 3 lately so maybe it is doing something. It will certainly protect the phone though.

I got no email, yet i still recieved my griffin carbon fiber case this morning!

VERY happy with it, perfect fit...and feels right!

Got my bumper last week. Happy with it. Improves the grip on the phone, yet doesn't make it look bulky. Not much for protection, but that's why I have the insurances.

That said, they were charging $30 for this? Rip.

I finally clicked the buy now option for the iPhone 4. Should have it by the end of the month.

I'm wondering though can I order my free bumper now (i have the iPhone 3G so downloading the app isn't a problem) or do I have to wait till the phone is at least shipped?

As far as i know you will have to wait.

Mate of mine got a bumper from apple, didn't like it, so I bought it off him!

Happy with it, have a couple of cases now, incase I wanna chop and change them around from day to day!

Glad I got them all for free or next to free!

Has everyone got their free case so? I ordered an Incase Snap Smoke Colour on the 31st July, got an email on the 20th Aug to say it was shipped and allow 5-10 days for delivery.

Just tried to track the shipment online and it says the Estimated Delivery Date is the 26th Aug, its supposedly being delivered by G3 WORLDWIDE.

Is anybody in the same boat?

my sis in law got an iPhone 4 from 3 and knew nothing about the case program. i have 3 bumpers (1 apple and 2 ebay) and showed her them and she loved them.

but she was going away that week so she said if i gave her my brand new apple one (which i wasnt using as i preferred my brightly coloured ebay bumper) then i could use her free case to order one for myself, so after not being happy with the apple bumper, this time i went for the Griffin Reveal Etch Graphite case.

got it today and i actually love it, ive swapped from my bumper to this case now. it doesnt show of the glossy glass back of course but it has the carbon fiber effect thingy and its very light and not intrusive on the phone at all.

Anyone got the Speck Pixel HD yet?

Mrs Me picked the translucent perforated cover (can't remember what brand) and got it ages ago. I'm still surviving on a €3 eBay special.

I had a mate over on Saturday night who had no idea about the case program either, suppose it's not in Apple's interest to advertise it much.

Don't quite follow your question? Download the app, run it, choose your case from the selection on offer, order it, delete the app.

I click "download the app from the app store"

On the next page which link do I click?

do it on your iPhone 4, it will then redirect you directly to the app store and install it there and then when you click it.
have you got an iTunes account?

The clue is in the advice "Download the app from the Appstore". Either you go into AppStore using the app as supplied on your iPhone OR you visit the store via iTunes on your computer.

The simplest method is to do it on your phone but once installed thereon, follow the procedure outlined several posts back.

Am perplexed as to how or why your iPhone isn't Internet enabled but it is going to have to be when you install the app on your phone.

When you visit the store, you simply do a search for "Apple free case program(sic)" and once located, download it. Then sync your phone with iTunes and the programme is installed on your iPhone.

If you do not have cellular data, then you are going to have to use wifi to connect and order your case. But you had better get a move on, 3 days left.

Folks i ordered the Iphone 4 on wednesday morning, from the Apple site, but i will not recieve it till the 15th of October..

Will it still be able to recieve the Free case??
