Medical card and moving abroad

I'm a medical card holder but I'm moving to Belgium to do my Masters and I was wondering about the Medical card and the European Health Insurance Card.
I need a fair amount of dental work (I have 3 chipped teeth that due to a fall need caps) I haven't been to the dentist yet but with the way that the dental services on the medical card have been reduced that the dentist will want to pull the teeth as caps aren't covered under the new system it seems. Am I better waiting to see a dentist until I get to Belgium.
    Thanks
