Set up a Premium Text Number for business? ???

    Has anyone set up a premium text number before and who are the most reliable and user friendly. It is for a web business, where the user will text a number to access a service, the number then also must be able to text the user. I have got info from esendex.ie and O2 .. is there anyone else out there that may have set this up in the past or currently have this in place that might offer some advice.

    I haven't set one up myself but i know there are quite a few sharp practices and cowboys that were operating in the industry. You probably can't go wrong if you deal with Phonovation or Xiam. Between them they seem to have most of the major contracts tied up such as the charitable donations and RTE.

    Check out http://www.oxygen8.com/ - we were particularly impressed with their API that made it a breeze to integrate with our web services. I don't think they are the cheapest, but they seem to be on top of their customer service.
