    Hi all,

I'm currently running a Profile Design Century aerobar but I'd like to upgrade to the Airstryke. Prepared to offer up to €70 for a good condition second-hand...

Would be interested to hear how you get on with these.

I was talking to Rob in Wheelworx about them last week. He is not a fan, fitting them for a while then taking them off before an Ironman. Apparently the problem is that when you get tired it's really easy to catch the pads with your forearm when transitioning to the cups, because you have to lift your arms over the top.

I had a pair for a while and although did very few TT's on the found this to be the case. They really are quite irritating to use.
The only benefit is they allow you to ride on the top of the bars which really defeats the logic of getting more "aero" in the first place

Interesting. I never ride on the tops anyhow so I could just lock them in the down position.

I have a pair of these I don't use if you still want them.
