    Hi,

Just wondering could anyone give me an idea of how long the journey takes on the 66x to town from Celbridge? And then back home again?

I am going to be working just off leeson street and I am debating about using the train (and then a bus from Heuston) or whether the 66x is the best option!

Dublin bus says the journey takes 70 mins from Maynooth.... wonder is this still the case. ecccck

    Any info would be appreciated!!

It's the 67X that operates from Celbridge.

The journey time shown is to UCD.

I would imagine that a realistic journey time to Leeson Street from Celbridge terminus on the 67X would be 45/50 minutes.

    I get the 67X sometimes

I usually get one at around 7.55 from the Village and I am in Baggot street by 8.45 or so

you would have to get off around there and walk up to leeson street

bear in mind thats during summer but with use of bus lanes and new N4 complete there shouldn't be too much delay on those times year round

I also sometimes get train from hazelhatch

I have to either drive to station or get the shuttle bus from village

I normally get a train at 809 which gets into Hueston around 8.30

then a 92 up to the green, takes about 10/15 mins...however, it would go all the way to leeson street

occassionally waiting at hueston for a while for the bus but normally not a long wait

basically they are around the same times but the X is the one journey rather than 3 seperate forms of travel
